Details

For most of our clients it is a long way to Africa and while a safari in Zambia is an exciting way to spend your time, it is rarely relaxing, with early morning starts and a lot of travelling typically involved. Many people look to combine a safari with a visit to one of the fantastic Indian Ocean beaches in order to get a few days' genuine rest and relaxation soaking up some sun in a luxurious setting.

Depending on where you are coming from, the time of year and your budget we would recommend combining your safari with an idyllic location on either the Tanzanian coast or the archipelago of Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia Island. Alternative destinations are Lake Malawi, Mozambique or Mauritius. You can also visit the Kenyan coast but that area tends to be overcrowded and lacking the charm of the other destinations. For more information on these options individually to see what suits you most, please use the destinations tab of the information box below. [cont.]

Getting to these locations from a safari in Zambia is not difficult. There are direct flights from Lusaka to Tanzania (Dar es Salaam) and Kenya (Nairobi), with beach extensions to Mozambique and Mauritius being routed via Johannesburg.

All these destinations provide an excellent chance of glorious weather, beautiful crystal clear waters and a wide selection of quality hotels and resorts to match your requirements. We tend to focus on smaller more intimate hotels, but if you are looking for somewhere larger with more facilities don't be afraid to ask.
